Creative planning, eye-catching imagery.

We were asked to signwrite some highly detailed designs onto a museum wall by Displayways Group. Working to a budget and taking into account the very fine detail of the drawings we decided to vertically screen print 22No designs to successfully achieve this.

We used 5 screens with the exposed stencils and a mesh to suit the emulsion paint rather than a smelly screen printing ink in the very public museum.

One important issue we had to consider was the placement of the image on the screen. For example if the image was at the top of the wall then it had to be at the top of the screen and so forth.

Using tiny panel pins to hold the screen in place, and with careful quick-thinking and planning, we successfully printed the 22No images on the wall. The whole process raised a few eyebrows but everyone was very pleased with the results.
